A notary public is an official commissioned by the state of Michigan to serve as an impartial witness to the signing of documents and administer oaths. My sole responsibility is to verify the identity of the signer, ensure their willingness to sign and deter fraud.

Why do you need a notary public?

Signatures on documents are notarized to ensure proper execution and deter fraud. I am responsible ensure that the signer has appeared before me and produces proper identification. I oversee the signing to ensure the documents are signed correctly and make sure the signer is entering into the agreement knowingly and willingly.
